I offer private classes for both individuals, families and groups of all skill levels and ages based on your specific goals and needs. Privates are available in Yoga, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA, strength & conditioning, mobility or a hybrid combination of these.

Personal wellness and lifestyle coaching options are also available. My approach to both my coaching and counseling is a strengths-based approach designed to nurture clients’ independence, resilience and ability to make choices to optimize their wellbeing.

Flexible in adapting to clients' goals, I am glad and willing to cater any of my Yoga and/or fitness programming to meet all participants needs. Customized programs are available to ensure meeting your group’s unique needs.

CURRENT GROUP CLASS OFFERINGS:

SWEAT - A hybrid bootcamp class using Animal Flow, body weight exercise, plyometric movements, sprints, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and Vinyasa Yoga designed to improve posture, build whole body strength (legs, chest, back, arms and core), improve flexibility, and reduce stress.

FLOW -  A varied sequence of Yoga asanas (postures) where movement is synchronized with the breath. Designed to improve muscle flexibility, strength and endurance – whole body fitness. Synchronization of breath and movement that encourage total human optimization.

DURABILITY - A unique class designed to improve mobility, establish healthy movement patterns, increase strength and flexibility, ameliorate posture, and enhance both functional and athletic performance through a blend of corrective exercise, self-myofascial release, stretching, and Yoga. 

RELAX & RESTORE - A slow-paced, passive style of Yoga where asanas (postures) are held for longer periods of time to stretch deep into the body's fascia and connective tissue, and also gently opening joints. The goal of this Yin/Restorative Yoga practice is to allow you to completely rest and relax. Promotes the centring of your breath and body.

ANIMAL FLOW - Created by Mike Fitch, Animal Flow is a trademarked bodyweight program that's centered largely around ground-based work. It features animal-style movements that encourage core stability and strength, joint strength, and body awareness — all without any fitness equipment. Derek is a certified Level 1 Animal Flow instructor.

FAMILY YOGA - An integrated Yoga class suitable for all ages and incorporating elements of Vinyasa Flow, Self-Awakening Yoga and Yin Yoga.
